Monstrous Mace in Salt and Sanctuary is a Greathammer type weapon.
A large, crudely-fashioned club of wood and stone. Its studded head is caked with dirt and covered in dark stains which bear a suspicious resemblance to dried blood. Swung about in one hand like twigs by the monstrous ogres wandering the island, these weapons are typically limited to two-handed use by warriors of saltborn stature owing to their sheer size and weight.
Notes and Tips:
- At 50 STR this weapon will have an Attack of 172.7.
- Two-handing a weapon increases Strength by 50% for damage scaling, meaning you only need 34 Strength to reach the 50 Strength soft cap when two-handing a weapon.
Location/Where to Find
- Sold by The Stone Roots Blacksmith upon reaching Devotion level 6 for 5,000 gold.
- Can be acquired by Transmuting any Greathammer with Bloated Monstrosity's Ear, an Amber Idol and 3,500 Salt.

Anonymousi may be stupid but i have the skill needed for the weapon but i cant use it.
What am i doing wrong
Im really tempted to call this the most useless weapon in the game. Not that its bad per say, but its outclassed by everysingle greathammers. The warhammer's buff factor makes it as powerful, but the slow hitter on this mace actually makes this a DPS loss in comparison. Also, worse upgrade path in the game. Do no waste your only twisted heart to max this.

I honestly have a hard time finding a practical reason to use this weapon over any other Greathammer...
I am not sure if this is a bug but i cant transmute my monstrous mace into another greathammer i cant find it
