Cleric is a Class in Salt and Sanctuary.
Cleric Information
Cleric is the only Class that begins the game with the Light Armor Skill and is the only Class that can use Prayers from the start. Choosing this Class means that you will want to focus your Skill Points on Cleric (Skill) and Light Armor. You will want to invest points into Fortified Strength to increase the damage of your Weapons and Aged Wisdom to increase the effectiveness with Prayers,
Wisdom/Dexterity build its potentially best archer build ingame

It would be fun if prayers changed color depending on the creed. :p

Probably the best starting class, you get 3 Blessed Pages, which let you do double damage to the Unspeakable Deep for 90 seconds. Take off your pants, two-hand the mace, and apply a blessed page and you're set. You can survive one shockwave (but not a direct hit) and can heal it up using Mend. Starting with the ability to use level 1 prayers is really good. Sacred Linens and Mend are good when you're stacking up a ton of wounding and don't want to use a slot for the Bandaged Ring, and Divine Armor is better than most actual armor. Light armor is the best armor; all the helmets and gloves which offer hidden benefits (which are really good, like +3 strength/magic, +10% damage, increased stamina regeneration) are light armor.

As the reddit says, this is probably the best vanilla starter option. Starts with garbage armor, but has level 1 miracles (extremely good for all builds), a nice ring, a shield and your choice of a dex or strength weapon. You can pretty much use this and the thief set found in the Banquet to develop your character however you wish. Early access to miracles lets you remove wounding penalties, which is very nice.

of course there are Wisdom weapons, but they're a bit meh IMO.

Are there any wisdom scaling weapons? I need to know so I dont waste points on the wrong weapon classes.

It means that you are halfway to wielding it. So you have all the stats for one but not for the other

I can't transmute a syth with my cleric any particular reason why? I have lvl 2 and it has a red line through it but I have it equipped and swings normal speed.
The most mysterious class of all time. They should have some sort of lore with these guys like, what will they do with my money?
