Markdor's rich mineral reserves have long been sought after by the Askarian crown, but the eastern nation has thus far only succeeded in occupying a few strategically unimportant mines.
The Ruined Temple area is based on a temple that exists in Markdor, according to the Black Sands Sorcerer.
