Hitting the light attack with a greatshield does a bash instead of a parry. This bash does little damage, and easily staggers enemies. Some smaller enemies can be brought wide open to do a critical hit kind of animation. If these enemies get staggered, they get wide open, and you can preform a critical hit easily. This is very useful on bronze axe knights.

Jesus, the amount of tower shields in this game is disgusting. How about some more Bucklers? There's only 3 of those. Or them Kite Shields, with it's entire 2 shields to pick from.
