 Saltreaver in Salt and Sanctuary is a  Reaper type weapon.

 

A terrifying scythe forged entirely from vanadium alloy and designed for the sole purpose of hunting Kraekan. Its massive serrated blade, sharp enough to render the scales of any abomination to swim forth from the lightless abyss, answers only to those of unparalleled strength and skill.

 

Notes and Tips:

  • At 50 Strength and 50 Dexterity this weapon has an Attack of 124.3 at tier VII.
  • Two-handing a weapon increases Strength by 50% for damage scaling, meaning you only need 34 Strength to reach the 50 Strength soft cap when two-handing a weapon.
  • Attack speed is noticeably slower than other Reaper weapons.

      Hola, no puedo usar esta arma, soy nivel 168, fuerza 50, destreza 43, aguante 43, me aparece que no se puede usar y tengo buenas estadísticas, ya tengo el árbol accesible para armas de tipo 5 como la guadaña, entonces no entiendo por qué no la puedo usar, espero sus respuestas, gracias.

        The saltreaver has two major flaws, the strength scaling and the slow hitter. The slow hitter can be compensated with the mossy charm.But the poise damage allow to stunlock a lot of ennemies. If you loop the full combo - Attack, spin attack, jumping attack and aerial combo- you can stunlock even bosses (works with the Kraeken Wyrm, Carsejaw, the Dried King, and the Nameless God, i need to try the others).Overall, i think the gravedigger and the Saltreaver are both good weapons.

          I use the salt reaver and scharfrichter but the salt reaver seems like the worse choice in every scenario is it ever a viable weapon?

            Honestly I like gravedigger a lot better. Faster attack and better dexterity scaling. Honestly safari as scaling goes the scythe makes no sense. You must first have the rank 5 spear, scythe, poleax skill on your tree which immediately gives you +5 dexterity however being the only class 5 reaver this weapon scales better off strength? It is a contradiction and super annoying if you have been focusing on dexterity more than anything because most in that class set use it lol. Huge design flaw.
