Naginata in Salt and Sanctuary is a Poleaxe type weapon.
A lightweight polearm designed exclusively for slashing attacks. Its single-edged blade has been skillfully honed to an unparalleled sharpness, but is thin and prone to chipping. The complex traditional methods used for production of these weapons are rarely practised outside of Kar'hi, where they have been used since ancient times to refine high-quality steel from the region's limited supply of inferior ore.
Notes and Tips:
- At 50 Dexterity this weapon has an Attack of 112.2 at tier VII.
- Although the Headsman's Voulge has 1.2 more AR at 50 Dexterity, the Naginata will have higher AR when a weapon buff is used. This is because weapon buffs scale off of the base AR of the weapon.
- The player will slide forward when using the heavy attack, while moving less than the Headsman's Voulge when using the light attack
Location/Where to Find
- Can be acquired by Transmuting any Poleaxe with Bedspider's Tusk, an Amber Idol and 10,000 Salt.

This weapon kicks butt especially when fully upgraded and buffed. I pretty much use vile charm (poison effect) with it instead of the mireheart charm which applies heavy poison to the enemy but the cost of you getting poisoned too in the process. I'm in NG+4 btw and it works on all bosses and enemies including the "Tree of Men." ;)

This weapon is literally just for show. At VII it's got 1.1 or so less damage than the Headsmans Voulge at VII, wich has the same weight, moveset, and attack speed.I ended up using this instead because of all the hassle I went through to get it, but holy *****.All that needs to be done is to change the required material to whatever the Dropspiders drop or something. All in all, this weapon really ain't that bad for what it is, and it's a Naginata to boot!
