Lowlander's Greatknife in Salt and Sanctuary is a Sword type weapon.
A large single-edged sword whose graceful blade is a signature of Taenibir's lowland mercenaries. Though the country's occupation by Dorian forces decimated their numbers and left them scattered throughout the continents, the Birian Lowlanders retain their fearsome reputation to this day and the sight of their unique arms on the battlefield still strikes fear into the hearts of their foes.
Notes and Tips:
- At 50 Dexterity this weapon has an Attack of 94.9 at tier VII.
- A good all-around sword for dexterity builds, with the only downside of being obtained until mid-late game and having mediocre base damage.
Location/Where to Find
- Can be acquired by Transmuting any Sword with Horsehead's Ear, an Amber Idol and 10,000 Salt.

It has low base dmg, good scaling (dex) and decent moveset. Just getting to Swordsmanship 3 to unlock it and not investing in anything more will leave you disappointed. if you just want a fast sword moveset then 2 swordsmanship and taichi and upgrade it (it's enough for beating base game (eventually :^) )). I have beaten ng run with kureimora, taichi and this. Greatsword for exploring, this blade for bosses, especially later ones as faster swing speed becomes crucial. Differences in reach between say greatsword and this are really noticeable. The first time you run into flying units you'll notice, also some boss fights are just plain easier having greater reach. It started beating kureimoa in damage at around 30+ ish dexterity, meaning that even if you invest purely into getting this weapon you won't be able to have dexterity scaling shine until late game. Though you won't be able to get it till like 50-60% of the game anyway.

Good weapon; it only scales off Dex so you can one hand it without consequence and it only requires a small strength investment (Minimum of 11). Alhough I find that it needs either the Bloodflower Ring or Charm to really shine. The only issue I have is the point at which this weapon can be acquired, being in the latter half of the mid-game isn't exactly quick-to-get. But you could just use the Tachi before upgrading to this weapon.
really clean design. reminds me of the balder side sword in dark souls 1. Just plain classy.
