Heartseeker is a Beast in Salt and Sanctuary

An abomination of alchemy. The alchemist's aim was to create some sort of love poultice, but he failed. Anyone unlucky enough to imbibe the failed product would shift into a hideous wretch, its desire for affection transforming its tainted heart into an all-encompassing eyeball."

Player Notes

      • Enemies buffed by a Heartseeker cannot be hurt by direct damage, making it a priority target.
        • Poison, fire, and reflected damage (from Lamprey Cuirass) will still harm the buffed enemies.
      • At -50 Poison defense, a single hit from any source of Poison will instantly Poison them, Wraithfangs especially

40 drop chance at 175 drop rate makes a 70% drop chance meaning I am guaranteed 1 nerve per sunken keep run, yet it took me nearly 20 runs or 40 kills to get 3. Eliminating my extra drop chance that means you get 1 nerve per 20 kills

Drop chance of nerves is 5 or lower, not 40. Either the page author is mistaken or the item is bugged.

at 79 drop rate (16 willpower + jesters hat, kismet stone and brightcoral ring, no guide) it took me 18 runs in sunken keep (36 kills) to get 3 for my final level of house of splendor

Nice farming spot to the left from Sunken Keep sanctuary. Use Dart Brand and Bells of Returning to max the speed.
