Kumo Sasumata in Salt and Sanctuary is a Poleaxe type weapon.
An elaborate battle fork which, according to an engraving on its blade in the Kar'hi'i language, was intended for exterminating the giant spiders native to Kar'hi and mainland Kadania. While it appears hopelessly impractical at first glance, its jagged crescent blade is in fact perfectly designed for puncturing exoskeletons and severing wings from a safe distance.
Notes and Tips:
- Fairly short range, but good damage.
- At 50 Strength and 50 Dexterity this weapon has an Attack of 129.8 at tier VII.
- Two-handing a weapon increases Strength by 50% for damage scaling, meaning you only need 34 Strength to reach the 50 Strength soft cap when two-handing a weapon.
- Attack speed is noticeably slower than other Poleaxe weapons.
Location/Where to Find
- Can be acquired by Transmuting any Poleaxe with Dropspider's Tusk, an Amber Idol and 10,000 Salt.

This translates literally as "two-pronged weapon for catching spiders".
This is a pretty rough Poleaxe because of its Slow Hitter. Not even Mossy Charm helps much of any bit. Its focus on Strength scaling gives a clue onto what build you'd use it for; a Heavy Armor/High Endurance build. Its weight is surpassed in its category only by the Class 5 Poleaxe, so you definitely need Endurance. The Slow Hitter NECESSITATES Balance to counter enemy attacks. It's still a rough weapon to use, but it'll only shine with a High-Balance build.

What does that mean? Does it do more damage than normal with that attack?
I'm not sure why so many people don't like this weapon,I know it's slow and all but the damage it does is stupidly high.I destroyed bosses like the 3rd lamb, fatass prince, the Witch and Skourzh in like 20 seconds(it was at level 4 and I used the goldenwine for more damage) and ,as I said it's slow and heavy but not slow enough to make it not viable.I think you should give it a try at least
