Armor Guardian is a Beast in Salt and Sanctuary

A giant, heavily armored tower guardian. Jaret, the King of Storms, had his court sorcerers create these hulks from the most devoted of his guards. What magic made them is a mystery, but it seems like it would require something more powerful than common sorcery."

i’ve found them to be more an exercise in patience than an actual threat, every time i’ve been hit by them was when i got greedy and ran out of stamina, as long as you have medium roll you can roll completely through their body and avoid their attacks since the shockwave dosnt seem to travel through them.

it’s just a matter of rolling through them hitting them 1-2 times, then rolling through them again when they wind up their next attack, they can’t seem to turn around once they start their telegraph so once your on the other side you get 2-3 sec of time to hit them before they can turn around and start their next attack

Yeeeeaaaaa 200 hp suuuuurrrreee. Unless I forgot how to count, it took more than 20 hits, each dealing 10 damage, to kill this bastard in the castle of storms

You can farm these guys for Salt, and it's very easy to kill them once you memorize their pattern:

If they raise their Shield, roll behind them, then roll back when they try to hit you with their mace.

If they raise their Mace, just roll behind them and kill them.

If they jump Backwards, move away from them until to use one of their other 2 moves.

If you want to kill them really fast, buy an extra Kurimoa, upgrade it to plus 3, transmute it into the Sodden Knight's Sword, farm the Saltless in the Village of Smiles until you have enough Drowned Lockets to get the Bulwark to +4, then it's easy mode. (Make sure you pick the Amber Idol as your starting gift, and to grab the Grasping Ring from the window you see when approaching the Kraekan Wyvern.)
